Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated July 30, 2026
Wen is a visual Timeline app for remembering what happened and when. This policy explains how Wen handles information in the iOS app, this website, and support conversations.
Private by design. Wen has no advertising, cross-app tracking, data brokers, or marketing email. Timelines are visible only to you and people you invite. Wen does not sell personal data.
Controller
Wen’s data controller is Gabin Desserprit, Norway. Contact: privacy@510.at.
Information Wen processes
Wen processes the account and profile details supplied through Sign in with Apple; Timeline, Sticker, occurrence, sharing, invitation, role, reminder, notification-device, and subscription records needed to provide the service; and messages or attachments you choose to send to support. Apple processes payments, and Wen never receives complete card or bank details.
PostHog receives privacy-minimized product events and an internal Instant account identifier after sign-in, but not names, email, Timeline or Sticker names, occurrence times, invitations, touch recordings, logs, or error data. EAS Observe receives unlinked installation performance metrics. Sentry receives unlinked errors, crashes, logs, traces, and service-health data without request bodies, default personal information, or Session Replay. Dub receives an exact Wen partner or campaign link, ordinary request context including approximate location, an internal account identifier only after attributed account creation, and verified attributed subscription transaction details. Wen does not send Dub names or email and does not use its probabilistic device matching. Crisp loads only after you press Support.
Purposes and recipients
Wen uses information to authenticate you, synchronize and share Timelines, deliver reminders, enforce plan seats, restore purchases, understand acquisition sources, attribute partner compensation, provide support, secure the service, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and meet legal obligations. Recipients are people you invite and the providers required to operate Wen: Apple, Instant, RevenueCat, Expo, PostHog, Sentry, Dub, Crisp, and Railway. Transfers outside Norway or the EEA use an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful safeguard where required.
Retention and deletion
Account and Timeline information is kept while needed to provide Wen. Crisp support conversations are deleted 12 months after the last interaction or sooner when account deletion completes. EAS Observe metrics follow Expo’s schedule, currently at least 60 days. PostHog and Sentry data follow Wen’s configured retention periods. Limited security, transaction, tax, or dispute records may be kept when required by law.
Deleting a Timeline permanently removes its content and shared access. Start account deletion in Account → Delete Account. Access is blocked immediately and the request remains cancellable for 30 days. If not cancelled, Wen removes the account and associated personal data by the end of that period. Deleting Wen does not cancel an App Store subscription; manage it through Wen or Apple first.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. Requests are free, may require identity verification, and are normally answered within one month. You may complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority. Contact privacy@510.at.
Children, security, and this website
Wen is for people aged 13 and older. Do not record another person’s information without a lawful reason and appropriate permission. Wen uses access controls, encrypted connections, restricted credentials, and deny-by-default database permissions, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
The public website has no advertising or analytics tracker. Railway processes the request data needed to deliver and protect pages. Crisp’s script, connection, session, and necessary browser storage load only after you press Support.
Changes and contact
Wen may update this policy as the service changes and will update the effective date. Material changes will be explained in the app or through another appropriate notice when required. Questions and privacy requests: privacy@510.at.
